Overview
The Maldives is not a touring destination and should not be sold as one. It is 1,200 islands, most of them uninhabited, and the model is simple: one island, one resort, and you stay put. The reef starts a few metres off the beach.
What we actually do here is match you to the right island. Budget matters, but so does transfer type, whether the house reef is any good, whether the resort is adults-only or built for families, and whether you want all-inclusive or half-board. Get that right and the rest takes care of itself.
