Overview

Kerala in 6 days

Kerala is a state you travel through by water as much as by road. This itinerary moves from the Arabian Sea at Kochi up into the Western Ghats at Munnar, across to the spice hills at Thekkady, and back down to the canal network at Alleppey for a night on a houseboat.

It is designed to be restful rather than packed. Long enough in each place to actually sit still, with private transfers between them and a coordinator on call if anything needs changing mid-trip.

Trip highlights

  • An overnight stay on a private Alleppey houseboat
  • Tea estates, Top Station and the Eravikulam approach at Munnar
  • A Periyar lake cruise and spice plantation walk at Thekkady
  • Fort Kochi's Chinese fishing nets and Jew Town antiques
  • A live Kathakali and Kalaripayattu performance
  • Ayurvedic massage at a certified centre
